JNC recommends candidates for the Supreme Court of Georgia

The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court of Georgia. 

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

• Brian K. Epps – United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia
• Benjamin A. Land – Judge, Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia
• John A. “Trea” Pipkin III – Judge, Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia
• Paige Reese Whitaker – Superior Court Judge, Atlanta Judicial Circuit
