The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Court of Forsyth County and the Superior Court of the Oconee Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy within the State Court of Forsyth County was created by the passage of House Bill 750 (Act 520) during the 2026 session of the Georgia General Assembly. The vacancy in the Superior Court of the Oconee Judicial Circuit was created by the passing of the Honorable Harold Kaufold, Jr.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
