The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Court of Fulton County and the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia.  The vacancies within the State Court of Fulton County are new seats created by the passage of House Bill 625 (Act 208) during the 2025 session of the Georgia General Assembly.  The vacancy within the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia was created by the appointment of the Honorable Benjamin Land as Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. 

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
