The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted to Governor Kemp recommendations to fill a vacancy on the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia.  The vacancy was created by the passing of the Honorable Clyde Reese.  Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

  • Carolyn “Tippi” Cain Burch – sole practitioner/owner, The Burch Firm, LLC
  • Jeremy U. Littlefield – member/co-founder, Robbins Alloy Belinfante Littlefield LLC (“Robbins Firm”)
  • Shondeana Crews Morris – Judge, Superior Court, Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit
  • J. Wade Padgett – Judge, Superior Court, Columbia Judicial Circuit
  • Jeffrey A. Watkins – Judge, Superior Court, Cherokee Judicial Circuit
