The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Court of Gwinnett County and the Superior Court of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy in the State Court of Gwinnett County was created by the passage of HB 1570 (Act 786) during the 2022 session of the Georgia General Assembly.  The vacancy in the Superior Court of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit was created by the resignation of the Honorable John M. Ott.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
