The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted to Governor Kemp recommendations to fill a new judgeship within the State Court of Paulding County.  This judgeship was created by the enactment of House Bill 1119 (Act 339) during the 2020 session of the Georgia General Assembly. 

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

  • Robert S. Lane – Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel, Georgia Campaign Finance Commission
  • Angela O’Conor – Circuit Public Defender, Paulding Circuit Defender’s Office
  • Noelani “Lani” Skipper – owner, Lani G. Skipper Law, LLC
