The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Court of Richmond County and the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy in the State Court of Richmond County was created by the resignation of the Honorable Patricia W. Booker.  The two vacancies within the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit were created by the resignations of the Honorable C. LaTain Kell and the Honorable Mary Staley Clark.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

  • Robert W. “Bo” Hunter, III – Judge, Civil and Magistrate Court of Richmond County
  • Le’Joi N. Williamson – Presiding Judge, Civil and Magistrate Court of Richmond County

 

Cobb Judicial Circuit

  • Paul Arena-Camarillo – Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney, Cobb Judicial Circuit
  • Sonja N. Brown – Judge, Cobb County Magistrate Court
  • Julie Adams Jacobs – Deputy Attorney General, Office of the Attorney General
  • D. Victor “Vic” Reynolds – Director, Georgia Bureau of Investigation
