The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted to Governor Kemp recommendations to fill a vacancy within the Superior Court of the Douglas Judicial Circuit.  This vacancy was created by the resignation of the Honorable David T. Emerson.  Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

 The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

  •  Talia J. Nurse – Associate Judge, Juvenile Court of Douglas County
  •  Deah B. Warren – Chief Assistant District Attorney, Douglas County District Attorney’s Office
