The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy within the Superior Court of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy was created by the passing of the Honorable Horace J. Johnson, Jr.  Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

  • Hillary W. Edgar – managing member, Edgar Law Firm, LLC
  • Cheveda D. McCamy – Chief Assistant District Attorney, Henry County District Attorney’s Office
