The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted to Governor Kemp recommendations to fill a vacancy within the Superior Court of the Augusta Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy was created by the retirement of the Honorable Michael N. Annis.  Governor Kemp will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Kemp:

  • Kristi G. Connell – partner, Connell Law Firm
  • Amanda N. Heath – Judge, Juvenile Court, Augusta Judicial Circuit
  • Jesse C. Stone – managing attorney, Merrill & Stone, LLC; Senator, District 23, Georgia State Senate
  • T. Mack Taylor – sole practitioner, T. Mack Taylor LLC
