The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Courts of Bibb, Bulloch, and DeKalb Counties.  The vacancy within the State Court of Bibb County was created by the appointment of the Honorable Jeffery O. Monroe to the Superior Court of the Macon Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy within the State Court of Bulloch County was created by the resignation of the Honorable Gary L. Mikell.  The vacancies within the State Court of DeKalb County were created by the appointments of the Honorable Shondeana Crews Morris and the Honorable Stacey K. Hydrick to the Superior Court of the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit.  Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
