The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy within the Superior Court of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Honorable Gail S. Tusan.  Gov. Kemp will fill the vacancy from the recommendations provided.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Gov. Kemp:

  • Rachelle L. Carnesale – Chief Assistant District Attorney, Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office
  • Melynee Leftridge – Judge, Magistrate Court of Fulton County
  • Richard S. Moultrie, Jr. – Assistant U.S. Attorney, Office of the United States Attorney, Northern District of Georgia
