The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the Civil and Magistrate Courts of Richmond County and the Superior Courts of the Flint and Macon Judicial Circuits.  The Chief Judge vacancy in the Civil and Magistrate Courts of Richmond County was created by the passing of the Honorable William Jennings.  The vacancy within the Superior Courts of the Macon and Flint Judicial Circuits were created by the appointments of the Verda M. Colvin and the Honorable John A. “Trea” Pipkin, III to the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
