The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill vacancies within the State Courts of Coweta and DeKalb Counties and in the Superior Court of the Paulding Judicial Circuit.  The vacancies within the State Courts of Coweta and DeKalb Counties were created by the resignation of the Honorable John Herbert Cranford, and the resignation of the Honorable Johnny Panos, respectively.  The vacancy in the Superior Court of the Paulding Judicial Circuit was created by the resignation of the Honorable Tonny S. Beavers.

Governor Kemp will fill the vacancies from among the lists.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

State Court of Coweta County

State Court of DeKalb County

  • Phyllis R. Williams – Associate Judge, DeKalb County Magistrate Court; Administrative Hearing Officer, DeKalb County Human Resources Merit System
