JNC recommends candidates for Cobb County State Court

The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy within the State Court of Cobb County.  The vacancy was created by the appointment of the Honorable Robert D. Leonard II to the Superior Court of the Cobb Judicial Circuit.  Governor Deal will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor's Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Deal:

• Jane Pyron Manning - Assistant Solicitor, State Court of Cobb County
• Maziar Mazloom - Solo practitioner, The Mazloom Law Firm, LLC; Associate Judge, Municipal Court of Marietta
• Henry R. Thompson - Senior Assistant District Attorney, Cobb Judicial Circuit
