JNC recommends candidates for Cobb Judicial Circuit

The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill a vacancy within the Cobb Judicial Circuit.  The vacancy was created by the resignation of the Honorable George H. Kreeger.  Governor Deal will fill the vacancy from among the list.  The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.

The following names were submitted to Governor Deal:

• Maria B. Golick – Judge, State Court of Cobb County, Division I
• Robert D. Leonard, II – Judge, State Court of Cobb County, Division II
• Juanita P. Stedman – Judge, Juvenile Court of Cobb County
• Mark S. VanderBroek – Partner, Troutman Sanders LLP
